My First Day at Campus
I can not forget my first day at campus. I was  flying thinking all those restrictions of school are over and now its the time for fun, fashion, movies and over the all guys. That day I got up pretty early took out my finest outfit and I was all ready to hit the road. For everyone it was a morning like all others, but for me it was something special. So I reached the bus stop and here comes the U-special for North Campus. I got in the bus which was full of guys and gals, suddenly I heard some one saying, 'here comes the fresher'. Then one of them came to me and said Hi, welcome to 'U' life and this 'U-special, my heart was pounding like anything. He offered me seat I was so happy to learn that guys are so good they don't even know me but they are offering me seat.

Now comes the University the place, I was waiting for to be through out my 12th class. The guy who offered me seat said come on I will introduce to some of my friends, I said OK, and there were his friends a group of girls and guys. I reached there and said 'Hi everyone', hearing this one girl said, 'beti yeh India hai, namaste bolo' the other one said 'naheen namate bahanji bolo' I was in a fix and soon realised that I ma being ragged, all the good thoughts about that seat offering guy, went away with the wind. After that they made me sing songs, made me do break dance on on 'yashomati maiya se bole nandlala' 

And here comes another guy like me, the so called 'FRESHER', the group of girls asked him to bark like a dog, act like a 'nai naveli dulhan'. I was cursing that guy who wanted to introduce me to his friends.

But there was an Happy ending to all this, the next day the same guy was on bus again, he came to me and said that was all part of welcoming you to campus, hope you took it positively. Soon we became good friends, so good friends that now he is my husband. Yes I cannot forget that first day at college.

First of all thanks to IndiaMela to give a chance to express my love. This one is for my first love, the person whom I admired everyday all the three years of college life. But as the saying goes, you never get what you want in life. The same happened with me. I just kept thinking of telling him those three magic words, but could say after all efforts. Now I am 40 years old, but still there is something for him. I don't know where is he, what is he doing? but whenever I go by my college I remember him and my old college days.
